To play Cyber Fighters, you must have you're monitor set to 256 colors. If it is set on 16 or 24 bit, errors may occur.
For sound and background music, Cyber Fighters requires Sound Manager 3.0 or greater. If you do not have Sound Manager 3.0+ all sound and music will be turned off.
Getting Started
To play Cyber Fighters, double click on the Cyber Fighters application. The game will load and open up to a screen with two buttons (Full Load and Quick Load).
If you have atleast 6,200K of ram available then click "Full Load". If you cant get that much ram into the program click on "Quick Load". When using less than the prefered size, be warned that the game may crash. In "Quick Load" it skips the loading of the players so whenever a new frame is draw to the screen, it has to load it first. So, the ram goes up durring the game-play and if it reaches the limit of ram, the game will crash.
Start Game
If you want to play a one player game in the level mode of Cyber Fighters, click this button.
Vs. Mode
If you want to play a two player game, either against the computer or a friend, click this button.
Selecting a Player
Once you've gone to Start Game or Vs.Mode, you will see a screen with eight players to choose from. On the top right, is what player one will be and in the top right is who player two will be.
If you want to see the info of a player click on any of the eight Info buttons below each player.
Two select between the players type the jump, duck, left, and right keys. Once you're on the player that you want, type either block, duck, or kick.
Choosing a Background (For Vs. Mode only)
Once both players are choosen, you'll see a screen with the names of the backgrounds you can fight in. Click on one of them and the game will start.
Setup
If you don't like the controls, speed, dificulty, or sound of the game, go into the opening screen and click on the Setup button.
To change controls, click on which key you want to change. The key will be pushed down and won't go up untill you type a key. You can't let two controls be the same key.
To change the speed of the game, click the Game Speed button and type a number (0-9,0-slowest 9-fastest). Depending on how fast your computer is, there might not be a change in speed if you raise it.
To change the dificulty of the computer (Vs. Mode), click on the "Computer Type" button. It will scroll through a list of types of computer strategies.
To change the sound or music, just click on the "Sound" and "Music" buttons.
